Apply to partner with Calgary Salutes
Charities serving military families, veterans, and Canadian Armed Forces members in the Calgary region can apply to be considered for partnership at Calgary Salutes signature events.

Volunteer at a Calgary Salutes event
Help us run signature events like the Calgary Barn Burner. Roles include registration, hospitality, parking, setup and teardown. Most shifts are 3–5 hours. No prior experience required.

Who is eligible to apply as a charity?
Registered Canadian charities (CRA-registered) with programmes that serve serving members, veterans, or military families connected to Calgary.
How long does volunteer signup take?
About five minutes. We'll follow up with role assignment and a confirmation email within five business days of an event opening.
Is there a minimum age for volunteers?
16 for most roles. Some hospitality and registration shifts require 18+. Per-role requirements are listed on each event.
When will I hear back about a charity application?
Within four weeks of submission. Decisions for Barn Burner are made by August each year.
