The Heritage and History Subcommittee, in partnership with The Hangar Flight Museum, hosted a lecture on WWII Flying Ace William (Bill) McKnight. This marked the 85th anniversary of this remarkable Calgarian being shot down over France during the Second World War.
William McKnight was one of Canada's most notable aviation figures and a distinguished military pilot.
