A special commemoration marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong, one of the most storied battles of the Korean War. The event featured Dr. David Bercuson, a distinguished military historian, who presented on the significance of the battle and the Commonwealth stand that saved Seoul in April 1951.
The Battle of Kapyong saw Commonwealth forces, including the 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, halt the Chinese Spring Offensive in a decisive engagement.
